Expectations of a World Language Classroom

  • 1) Respect each other as they learn. Some people learn things faster than others, others need more time or to ask more questions. Have patience with yourself and others.

    2) Activities we will do in class involve, READINGWRITINGSPEAKING, and LISTENING, and CULTURAL activities. All of these are very important. Learning a new languages involves being able to COMMUNICATE. We will be most successful when we listen to others speak and be able to answer.

    More general expectations:

    3) Come prepared to class everyday, that means pens,pencils, notes, and homework.

    4) Grades are calculated from the following: (a) Classwork, (b) Homework, (c) Tests, Quizes and Projects.

    5) If a student is ABSENT, the student is responsible for getting assignemts they missed from the teacher or classmates.

    6) LATE assignments lose credit after the due date. Work will be accepted, but will not receive full credit.
