During this time of uncertainty, we need to try to have as much continuity as possible. In order to help students with this, this page will be used to inform students of my classes of their continued classwork.
Students and parents should also be aware that I am reachable via email or chat with MS Teams.
I know these are trying and chaotic times, and I wish for health and safety for all of you and your families.

Student Work
Work will continue to be assigned to be completed on MS Teams, Nearpod, and/or Khan Academy.
9th Grade Students in Algebra Extension: Continue to complete your 60 minutes of work each week. If you have any issues or problems that you would like to discuss, feel free to contact me using Microsoft Teams and we can chat online.
There are instructions for getting onto MS Teams on the schools technology page. MS Teams Instructions.
11th and 12th Grade Students in Statistics: Individual assignments will NOT be put up on Khan Academy. In order to best use our time during Remote and Hybrid Instruction, each student will have the ability to work at their own pace to complete exercises in the course. Grades will be calculated at the end of each marking period, based on percent of Mastery in the course, weekly grades, and End of Marking Period Assessmensts. Click here for the Mastery Grading Scale.
In addition, Mr. Texler will be available each day, during class time for individual and small group help/instruction; unless otherwise stated on MS Teams. Mr. Texler will periodically be checking in on students to ensure they are getting all of the necessary instruction that they need.
Notes from the lessons will be posted on the Class Notes Page. Notes may include PDFs of lessons, videos of instruction, or other materials.

Additional Resources for Distance Learning
Graphing Calculator Resources
Free TI Graphing Calculator Software It is recommended that students download and install the TI-SmartView™ CE emulator software for the TI-84 Plus graphing family.
Here are a few more suggestions, that I am familiar with. There may be a small fee for the iOS one, but I will let you know if I find one that is good and free.
For the computer or mobile device:- DESMOS this is free and able to be used on any device, but it takes a bit getting used to, at first. Once you understand how it works, it is quite easy, and I will give you any help you may need.
- WabbitEMU this can be used on a computer or an android phone, there is no app for the iPhone. It is exactly the calculator you have used in school. It is not the easiest to install on the computer, so I can give technical assistance on this. Click here to download the Wabbit as a zip file.
For iOS (iPhone and iPad)
- Graphing Calculator X84, this is almost exactly like the TI-84 that you have used in school, so you will be familiar with it.
