In the event that I am absent, please complete the following activities with the children. It would be helpful to try to maintain a regular school day schedule to keep them focused.
Day 1 Activities
** Have the students discuss and write the daily message including the day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) month and year. They should also complete a sentence using weather word (sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy and snowy) and feeling word (happy, sad, angry, tired, etc) in their notebook.

1. Complete Benchmark reading/phonics activities in Sub Work box.
2. Have students take a bathroom break.
3. Complete Math activities in Sub Work box.
4. Have children get what they need for lunch including jackets, lunch bags & water bottles.
5. 10:55 Escort the children to the lunch room.
6. 11:55 Pick students up in the playground/auditorium depending on the weather.
7. After lunch, students rest and have a bathroom break.
8. Complete Science/Social Studies activities in Sub Work box.
9. Read a story and discuss the characters, setting and events in the story.
10. 1:35 -2:05 Prep (follow Prep Schedule)
11. Snack time
12. Prepare for dismissal (refer to the blue Sub Folder for dismissal details and names on walkers and bus students.
