Hello, my name is Chris Cassano, and I’ll be the 12th Grade Assistant Principal at Gorton High School. For the past eight years, I’ve been an assistant principal in many Yonkers elementary, middle, and high schools. Previously, I taught English in grades 7-12 throughout public schools in Westchester County, The Bronx, and Georgia.
After high school, I attended Binghamton University where I received my B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy. From there, I earned Masters degrees in teaching and administration from the University of Georgia and The City College of New York, respectively.
I look forward to being a part of the Gorton High School learning community, and working together to help our students be prepared for college and/or a career after graduation. Go Wolves!
