While in school, we do alot of "learning through play".  It is so much fun.  

Homework begins the first week in October.  These activities will be the same weekly.  The assignments will work in line with the PreK Next Generation Standards and help your child get ready for Kindergarten. 

In PreK we learn a lot about our feelings and how to express our needs and wants.  Every day we review how the rules make us happy and safe. We also review how to be a kind friend.  Your child will learn a variety of strategies to express and control their emotions.  

 Every day we end the day with, "What was your favorite part of the day"?  Please ask them at home to develop that school-to-home relationship and to assist them in expanding their vocabulary and sentences.
