Grade/Subject: ENL (English as a New Language) Grades Kindergarten-3

Focus: I believe that knowing another language is an amazing skill and my goal is to make students comfortable with English while maintaining their native culture and language.

Program Highlights:

-Activities are designed based on the four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

-Lessons are based on concepts discussed in your child's main class through the Benchmark reading program, so students receive additional support on themes and stories they are already learning with their teachers. 

-Parent workshops are provided throughout the year to support parents ex: Literacy Activities at Home, Benchmark reading program overview, Test Taking Readiness, etc. (These parent workshops are available in English and in Spanish)

-Additional resources and activities available in multiple languages on this website ex: Unite for Literacy, Learning Together at Home, Field Trips Around the World, National Geographic Kids: Destination World. (Please click on the tabs to access these resources)
