History Bowl Team: The National History Bee and Bowl (NHBB) is a nationwide history quiz competition for high school, middle school, and elementary students in

the United States. NHBB was founded in 2010 by David Madden, a 14-time

Jeopardy champion. By fostering an interest in history among students, NHBB

demands that our students make connections across eras, places and themes. As stated by NHBB, “This includes an appreciation of the idea that history is not just a morass of names and dates, but a key to understanding every human endeavor, from the battlefield to the baseball field, from the political arena to the photography studio, from sacred places to the science lab.” The YMHS team will prepare for Regional and National competition.
