  • Yonkers Historical Society Patricia Mangold Scholarship

    These awards of $1,000 and $500 are presented to 2 college bound high school seniors who are Yonkers residents, based on submission
    of a project that shows understanding and appreciation of the history of Yonkers.   The project should go beyond a simple repettition of facts
    from the internet, as explained in the attachment.
     
    We rarely have a submission that cannot be delivered by mail or email, and don't know when our office at the Will Library will be open again.
    Applicants who have to drop off projects should call or email to make arrangements. 
     
    The deadline for submission of projects for the Patricia Mangold Scholarship has been extended to Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

    Applications are available to graduating High School Seniors who will be attending college in 2020-21.

    The deadline for the application is June 1, 2020.
