  • Homework Policy

Practice makes Perfect! Homework is an important part of the learning process. It counts for 10% of your grade!

Homework for Reading includes but is not limited to:

    • Independent reading
    • Drafting, revising and editing pieces of writing
    • Vocabulary activities
    • Online research

Social Studies Homework will be given occasionally as the topic warrants.

Failure to turn in homework will result in students completing a “Homework Accountability Form”.

  • Bathroom Policy

Use the signal we practiced, and wait for permission from the teacher. Fill out the sign-out form.  Whenever possible, limit trips to the bathroom. You are responsible for any material that you missed while you were out.

Students may bring a water bottle (not juice or soda) labeled with their names to be kept at their desks.

  • Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones are important for communication outside of school. Cell phones will be collected at the beginning of every day and returned just before dismissal. If your family needs to contact you during the school day, they must call the main office.
