I am a dedicated professional educator with over 15 years of experience teaching elementary school. I have spent most of my career working to improve the social, emotional, and academic skills of students in the inner city schools of New York. I believe that discovery experiences are crucial to developing problem-solving skills in children. A classroom should be an atmosphere that is positive and nurturing. A school experience needs to be a partnership; one in which a dialogue is established among all involved: parents, teachers, and students.
