Ms. Taylor-Wernham is the School Library Media Specialist for Yonkers Middle High School (YMHS). Ms. Taylor-Wernham has worked as a School Library Media Specialist for 30 years, 27 years spent with the Yonkers Public Schools (YPS). Nicole's career began at The New York Public Library as a Librarian in Training. She holds a BS in Education from City College of New York; an MS in Library and Information Science from Long Island University; permanent certifications as a PK - 6 Elementary Teacher, School Library Media Specialist and Public Librarian. 

 

As a School Library Media Specialist with 30 years of experience, Ms. Taylor-Wernham has had the opportunity to work with every sector of YPS clientele. She has worked with colleagues, administrators and students from PreK through 12th grade. Enjoying each interaction for distinctly different reasons. Ms. Taylor-Wernham has and continues to serve on the Yonkers City School Library Council. She is the faculty advisor to YHS Poetry Club who publishes a yearly anthology. Ms. Taylor-Wernham has been honored to serve the learning community of YMHS and looks forward to continuing to assist in all their learning needs.
