Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) partners with the Yonkers Public Schools to ensure Yonkers high school students are prepared for college success.  YPIE works closely with partners in the schools - principals, assistant principals, school counselors, and teachers - to ensure that we are coordinating services for each student.

At Yonkers Middle High School, YPIE has dedicated college readiness managers and college advisors that reside in the YPIE College Center adjacent to the school library.  These staff members are available during the school day and after school.

Yonkers public high school students can join YPIE as a:

• YPIE Scholar in the fall of 9th Grade: YPIE Scholars receive academic preparation and enrichment after school at the YPIE College Zone, coaching from adult mentors in school, college application services, and support from the YPIE Community.

• YPIE Fellow in the winter of 11th grade:  YPIE Fellows receive support with the college application and financial aid process in school.  

YPIE has a large community of more than 250 volunteers that mentor and support our YPIE students throughout high school.
