        Overview

• Art is not the ability to draw.  It is expression and creative thinking in a safe space.

• Everyone in Art will become better artists by nature of being in the class.  However, the ultimate goal is to use Art to express yourself and learn to think creatively.
• All lessons are based on New York State Standards and will focus on a variety of different artists, techniques, and movements.

• Students will grade themselves on their own effort on a daily basis.  
  
  
• Projects will be graded at the close of each assignment.
