The School 16 Parent Advisory Committee is a group of dedicated volunteer parents who play a crucial role in representing the interests of our school community. Serving as a vital bridge between the school and the families it serves, the committee ensures that parent voices are heard and valued in decision-making processes.
Our committee consists of 12 parents, including:
- 1 parent from each grade level (PreK - 8)
- 2 parents representing our 15:1 Special Education Classes
- Our Current PTA president
We are currently accepting applications for these positions on a first-come, first-served basis until a representative is found for each role.
Members of the committee are expected to attend monthly meetings, both during and after school hours, and actively participate in various school events throughout the year. This commitment helps to foster a strong partnership between parents, educators, and the school community as a whole.
If you are interested in joining the School 16 Parent Advisory Committee and making a positive impact on our school community, please find the application link below. We look forward to welcoming new members who are dedicated to supporting our students and school.
*Please be advised, volunteers for our first PAC will be making a commitment to serve on the PAC for the 2024-2025 school year*
Thank you for your interest in being a part of our Parent Advisory Committee!
