Welcome back to School 2021-2022! ¡Bienvenidos al Año escolar 2021-2022!

It is with great pleasure that I say Welcome Back!  

I am Ms. Acevedo, your World Language-Spanish Teacher.  Many of you may remember me from down the hall when you were in the 6th grade or with other members of the 7/8th grade team of teachers.  It's great to be back and I look forward to getting to know you all, despite the challenging time.  Work with me and I will definitely work with you to become a better writer and speaker in Spanish through out our course. 

Soy la Señora Acevedo, su profesora de Español.  Si estuvieron en Dodson el año pasado, me recuerdan por verme en el pasillo cuando pasaban con sus grupos de sexto grado o mis otros compañeros de maestros del séptimo/octavo grado.  Estoy muy alegre de estar de nuevo y espero llegar a conocerlos durante un tiempo de tanto desafío .  Trabajen conmigo y yo definitivamente haré lo mismo para ayudarlos.  Mi meta es que se expresen mejor en el idioma del Español- por conversación y escritura. 

Grading Criteria/Calculación de Nota: 

Grades will be calculated using Power School. The Middle School Grading Policy will include the following/Las notas serán basadas por lo siguiente:

1. Tests, Quizzes, Projects= Examenes, Pruebas, Proyectos

2. Participation/Participación

3. Homework/Tarea

4. Classwork/Effort=Trabajo de Clase/Esfuerzo

5. Attendance/Asistencia
