Music students are expected to come to class and actively participate in the lessons.  Students are expected to come prepared to sing, move, and play instruments.  During class, students will sing, listen to music, explore different musical elements like rhythm, melody and pitch and learn musical notation. All music students perform in the Winter and Spring Concerts. 

Classroom rules 

1. Enter the room quietly and walk to your assigned music spot.
2. Raise your hand and do not call out.
3. Treat the instruments and classroom materials with respect. 
4. Keep your hands to yourself.
5. Listen to others.
6. Always be respectful to others.
