No School February 15-19 for WINTER RECESS. Please complete Animal Projects during this time. Presentations will begin Feb. 22-26.
Another materials pick up for the 100% REMOTE 3rd grade is on Feb 1-5. M,T,Th,F at 9:30-10:15 and Wed. from 9-2pm. Our aides will be in the library. Please knock on the door and sign for your child's materials. Thank you in advance.

Community Meeting Classes are an opportunity for those children learning remotely to unmute and ask questions or get extra help. There are blocks of time alotted for these classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Flex Wednesday will be dedicated time for review of math, more writing practice, and sharing with peers.

We will meet using the platform called Microsoft Teams. The main component is like a “zoom” feature. We will start our meeting seeing and speaking to each other. Your child has an Office 365 account with Yonkers Public Schools through CLEVER:

Click on the C – Log in with Clever
Enter your username and password, then hit log in
Username is Student 6 digit ID#@yonkerspublicschools.org
Password is Child’s Birthday MM/DD/YYYY
Now you should be in Clever
Under Digital Platforms click on Office 365
This will take you to a row of many icons
To enter our live classroom click on “Teams,” then click on join meeting!

Benchmark Advance is our NEW reading program. We will start by using some digital components, but also use the books when a parent can pick them up. PICK UP is 9/8-9/11 at the school. I wll be learning this program along with you. Do not worry. We will learn together.

In CLEVER you will be able to access Benchmark Advance, Math Module videos and many more wonderful learning apps!
Parents will receive a separate letter for each child.
To access your child's information, please follow these steps:
- Open an internet browser on any web accessible device.
- Choose "Create Account" to start the process.
- Create your account by following the on-screen prompts. You will need to supply your first name, last name, email address, username, password, and relationship to child. Please make note of your username and password.
- To link to your child, use the provided Access ID and Password. The Access ID is case sensitive. The password is your child's date of birth in this format: mm/dd/yyyy. For example, if his/her birthday is February 2, 2010, you will enter 02/02/2010.
- If you have more than one child in the district, you may link them on this screen, or in the Parent Portal. You will need a unique Access ID and password for each additional child
Once you successfully create your account, you will be able to use your username and password to sign in to your child's account and monitor his/her academic progress.
