Hi Everyone,

My name is Kristina Nilaj and I am a certified math teacher from Lincoln HS. I graduated from Yonkers High School and received my Bachelor's Degree from The College of New Rochelle. My Master's Degrees are from Mercy College. I have been teaching math in Yonkers for 7 years and specifically at Lincoln 4.5 years. I have taught everything except from 7th grade to pre-calc, except geometry. My favorite is Algebra and that is what I have been teaching for the past 4 years. 

I am an immigrant from Albania and because of this I understand students who are learning English as a second languange. I LOVE All sports. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and college. Now I play anything I can whenever I have free time. Since the quarantine started I started practicing yoga. I currently coach volleyball at Lincoln HS. This would be my fourth season and hopefully the best. After sports and exercising the next thing I LOVE is food. So if you have restaurant recommendations let me know! :)
