Greetings,

Welcome Back Students, Parents, and Colleagues! My name is Mr. Bordas and I teach United States History & Government! Room 120 is Bordas Country and is where the magic of all things America come alive! I have been teaching for 25 years in both public and private institutions of education in Yonkers. Prior to teaching, I had the great privilege of serving in the United States Navy. American history is one of my great passions and I hope to instill a sense of civic pride and appreciation for "Fact-Based Learning," so that the students I teach will become active and life-long learners as we prepare for college and beyond. Last year 94% of my students achieved Regents proficiency. Let's do better.
