Isaac del Monte immigrated to Yonkers, New York from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and attended School 19 and Emerson Junior High School (Cross Hill Academy) as a bilingual education student. After graduating from Palm Beach Community High School, he returned to Yonkers and worked at a pharmaceutical company while tutoring in the Yonkers Public School district.

 Mr. Del Monte began his tenure as a Spanish teacher at Yonkers High School and later worked at Cross Hill Academy.  After eight years of teaching, Mr. Del Monte became an assistant principal at Lincoln High School and then worked as an assistant principal at Enrico Fermi Elementary and the Yonkers Intensive Day Treatment (Vive/Pathways to Success). He is in his second year at Roosevelt High School - Early College Studies.

 Mr. Del Monte holds a Masters degree in Spanish Literature from CUNY City College and a second Masters degree in Education Leadership and Administration (MSED) from the College of Saint Rose. Mr. Del Monte graduated from Westchester Community College with an Associate degree in International Business and has a bachelor's degree in International Marketing from Baruch College. Currently, he is enrolled at Fordham College to earn his Doctor of Education degree (EdD).

 Mr. Del Monte is passionate about providing minority students with an equitable education and is focused on students' academic growth and helping students become productive citizens.
