This course provides an introduction to anthropology, the study of anthropos - people. People function and interact in diverse and complex ways. This is why anthropology is holistic, meaning it combines the study of the social, biological, and cultural systems that comprise humanity.This is also why anthropology is comparative, meaning it considers the similarities and the differences between human cultures across the world.
