This blog was created to showcase students at Gorton High School as they worked on a geocaching project. The idea wasconceptualized and developed by various school librarians as they implemented a transdisciplinary unit around the pandemic and lockdown. Students expressed themselves in various formats including laser printing, 3D printing, recording and writing. Creating a Covid journal, students were able to externalize their feelings, frustrations and fears they experienced. Utilzing the library's fabrication lab, students created their cache, or treasure, to be hidden in their desired locations. Additionally, they also took part in learning about geocaching.
