Yonkers has committed to the mission of preparing all learners for the opportunities of today and tomorrow in a culture of inquiry. All are encouraged to take initiative for their own development, think critically, actively listen, participate fully and acquire decision making and leadership skills.  In the 2020-2021 school year, a Math Vision Committee was formed to determine how this mission is accomplished in math classrooms across the district.  As a team of administators and teachers, the Math Vision Committee collaborated to develop a vision of what math instruction should look like in any math classroom in the district, putting us on a path to strengthen the mathematical prowess of our students.  So as you read over the district vision of math instruction, consider the question, "Are you G.A.M.E.?"
