Allow for students to creatively explore (choice where possible) new topics, research sources of information, organize & outline ideas, articulate claims or thesis, & support positions with evidence. Supplement the learning that occurs in the homework, class work assignments, lessons, & examinations.
Evaluation: Measures the learning of students: presentation effort & creativity, quality & effort of research, how the display of their understanding of the main concepts & issues.
Guidelines for any assigned project:
- When choice where possible Sign up ensure that topic selection is appropriate. Make sure to pick one find interesting & informative, I can assist.
- Gather information conduct research so that you can complete project with adequate source materials.
- Make sure you have adequate supplies and materials to display your project.
- Organize ideas, outline before submit your final product.
- Follow MLA bibliography when you list your sources.
- Use citations it’s very important.
- Cite where your research by using quotation marks.
- Avoid plagiarism, paraphrasing can be seen as plagiarism.
- Reasonable deductions may occur for late projects.
