MISSION

The Yonkers Urban Leadership Academy (YULA) is committed to preparing a diverse pool of leadership candidates who can navigate the shifting landscape of today’s schools.  YULA seeks educators ready to lead for equity in an urban school setting.  Participants will learn through a competency and project-based approach that encompasses a year-long substantive internship.  Successful completion of the program will lead to a Master’s degree and NYS School Building Leader (SBL) certification.
