Regents Level Earth Science- Students BEWARE!
Earth Science is a spellbinding journey from the center of the Earth to the edge of space. We explore the facinating interactions between human kind, the world we live on and Earth’s place in the universe.
You must come to this class prepared to be challenged, intrigued, baffled, and amazed BUT to really enjoy the experience.... you must come to this class prepared to learn.
Earth Science is one of the most challenging classes. The Regents, Earth Science culminates in two exams, a school cumulative final and the NYS Earth Science Regents exam. All students who take this course are required to sit for the state exam and are expected to reach the level of proficiency required to achieve a score of at least a 75, demonstrating they understand the material. THE MOST FUN part of this challenging class is that all students will participate in ENGAGING LABS, doing real work - inspiring and empowering all students to think independently, have a desire to learn, to be knowledgeable, responsible and passionate contributors to our learning community, the local community and the global community.
Class Assignments:
Student assignments will be created in Schoology. Students are expected to complete work on time as well as assignments due on a future date.
