At a time when much of the world is focused on differences, I thought it would be fitting to focus on our commonalities.  Being able to look at what unites us enables all of us to have compassion when someone's hurt, happiness when something wonderful happens, and empathy when we put ourselves in someone else's shoes.

The events at the Capitol Building in Washington DC were unfathomable.  The idea that 'mob rule' should supercede the will of the people is reprehensible.  The attack on our nation's Democracy and principles did not thwart the will of the people on Nov. 3rd and Jan. 6th, in Georgia. May we remember that we can disagree without being disagreeable or disrespectful.

To my Resource Students doing well: keep up the great work/work ethic.

To my Resource Students facing challenges: keep working, don't quit, make improvements, and strive for your personal best.
