For Kindergarten, have your child practice:
- Reading letters
- Telling you what sound or sounds the letters make.
- Reading and writing their sight words taught in their regular class.
For grades 2-8, please write your responses to the Reading Choiceboard in either a notebook, paper, or email to me. Please do not do spell check. In ( Parenthesis), put in your corrections or what you fixed. I will be asking to see your work when we go back to school.
The top of your papers should have:
1. Your name and the date.
2. The title or name of the article or story you read.
3. The question you answered.
4. Your answer to that question.
Remember to read your work looking for possible mistakes and the ones you know you sometimes make. You should be doing at least 1 reading a day. If you need sentence starters like we use in class, please let me know.
I will be checking and changing this page during our time out of school. Feel free to email me, if you have any questions about anything.
