    Dear Families,

    Welcome to the 2021-22 school year!  I am thrilled to be working with our lower school and continuing my role as the CARS counselor. Our emphasis this year will be on Social Emotional Learning.     Career Education

    For the career of the week, I am featuring Robert Roberto Chilelli. Roberto is a life long resident of The City of Yonkers. Rob is on the Yonkers Fire Department and has been working tirelessly during this Covid-19 pandemic. The Yonkers Fire Department is unique because all Firefighters are trained to be Emergency Medical Technician. EMTs are the first responders when citizens are in need of help firefighters.

    Rob, has been a firefighter for almost twenty years. He attended Saunders Trade High School where he studied to be an electrician. Along with being a full-time firefighter, Roberto owns Chilelli Electric Corp. Roberto, is first generation Italian American. He speaks three languages fluently Italian, English and Spanish. He attribute much of his success and ability to connect with others with his linguistic background. He is also the proud father of three children two of which are students at The Pulaski school.

    The City of Yonkers is very proud of Roberto and we’re grateful to have him protecting us.
