Last night we had the chance to celebrate the accomplishments of our English Language Learners – including participants in the District’s Bridges to Success Summer Academy. This intense immersion program for newcomers featured a curriculum developed by the Yonkers Public Schools Language Acquisition Department in collaboration with the American Reading Company and the Hudson Valley Regional Bilingual Resource network.
