Prekindergarten, new to the District Kindergarten and first grade students AND their parents/guardians are invited to the student’s assigned elementary school for the Yonkers Public Schools annual School Bus Safety and School Orientation Program from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM on Friday, August 25, 2023.

The morning begins with a tour of the yellow bus, which will be parked outside. The bus driver will guide visitors through school bus safety procedures and information and allow students to practice daily routines like putting on a seat belt and using the handrail.

At 9:45 a.m., the building principal will welcome families into the school for a brief orientation program.
