We are excited to announce the Second Annual Yonkers Public Schools Film Festival, an incredible opportunity for young filmmakers in our community to showcase their creativity and passion.

This year’s theme, "Yonkers: Art, Music, Dance, Theatre, Film...the Heart & Soul of Our City," aims to celebrate the diverse artistic expressions that define our vibrant city. We are inviting students to submit original films, up to 5 minutes in length, that reflect this theme. Please note, films exceeding this length or containing explicit content will not be considered.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 21, 2024, by 5 pm. Selected films will premiere at the Yonkers Riverfront Library on May 4, 2024, during the YPS Arts Exposé. Participants will also enjoy a tour of the studios and have their work reviewed by our executive staff.
