1,500 Students Attend Annual Holocaust Remembrance

    (May 6, 2024) Nearly 1,500 5th - 12th grade students heard from children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors during the Yonkers Public Schools Annual Holocaust Remembrance, held this year at the Lincoln Park Jewish Center. The Holocaust and Human Rights Center in White Plains collaborates with the District in presenting the program. Superintendent of Schools Anibal Soler, Jr. joined the students today to hear testimony from children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors.
